macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta 4 now out

Today, Apple has released the latest beta for the highly anticipated next big update to macOS. This beta 4 of macOS Sequoia 15.1 comes with Apple Intelligence features. It is currently being rolled out to developers right now.

The First Update to macOS Sequoia Scheduled for October

Just yesterday, macOS Sequoia made its way into the hands of users along with Apple’s other major OS updates. It brings an array of exciting new features to the Mac, including:

  • iPhone Mirroring
  • The brand-new Passwords app
  • Easier window tiling functionality
  • Upgraded video conferencing capabilities
  • Many of the great features from iOS 18 and iPadOS 18
  • And much more

However, there’s another significant update on the horizon for October: macOS Sequoia 15.1.

Over the summer, 15.1 has been undergoing extensive beta testing, as it incorporates the very first Apple Intelligence features.

Today marks the very first beta release following the public launch of macOS Sequoia 15.0.

Beta 4 Includes Apple Intelligence Features

The new beta 4 update is likely to offer even more enhancements and tweaks to the Apple Intelligence features. Additionally, general performance improvements can be expected as well.

To refresh your memory, the previous few 15.1 betas have included the following Apple Intelligence features:

  • AI writing tools
  • Notification summaries
  • An early version of the updated Siri
  • Clean Up in Photos
  • Safari webpage summaries
  • And many more
